Solar Sculpture Fabrication and Ribbon Cutting

“Gyration” the first 3D solar sculpture commissioned by the Orlando City Soccer Club faced a large setback that other OUC collaborations did not, the Covid-19 pandemic. The design was approved in June of 2019 but the shortages due to Covid-19 slowed work and prevented project completion until the end of 2020. Regardless the monument stands tall on the corner of Glenn Lane and Church Street in downtown Orlando.
