"Peace" at Immerse

Immerse is a multidisciplinary event bringing the city of Orlando together using every form of the arts. "Peace" is an installation that will literally call people (with its musical chiming) towards it, the stages, and other works around town. “Peace” could be heard from a block away, before it could even be seen.

Each individual box of the installation provided an interactive space for the passerby. This space could be meditative or simply an escape from the mundane. Suspended wine bottles are an uncommon sight in the downtown sector, making the installation alluring in its uniqueness. Many Orlando residents and visitors could not resist stopping to look or to create their own music with the bottles. This created a dialogue between strangers, which could be seen by the couple walking by watching the children play within the bottles, bringing a smile to everyone involved.

Immerse, with all its installations, and shows created a night of whimsy. Each work of art simply added to the whimsy.
